Privacy Policy

Cheezburger ("we" or "us") respects the privacy of users ("you" or "your") of our website cheezburger.lol (the "Website"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information received through the Website.

We do not actively collect any personal data directly through the Website. The Website does use Cloudflare services which may automatically log certain connection data such as IP addresses per standard web access protocols. Any data collected by Cloudflare is governed by their privacy policy.

As Cheezburger utilizes blockchain technologies, transactions on the blockchain are public by design. Any data stored on a blockchain is outside of Cheezburger's control and this policy does not apply to blockchain data.

Users are responsible for protecting the security of any blockchain addresses or accounts they use in connection with Cheezburger. We cannot access, control, or recover wallet addresses or transaction details.

Cheezburger complies with GDPR data protection regulations. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share any data with third parties except as required by law or to operate the Website.

About Social Tokens

Cheezburger enables permissionless creation of social tokens associated with public figures' personas and online profiles. These social tokens are minted directly on blockchain by anonymous community members.

Cheezburger does not collect, store, or transmit any user data as part of the social token creation process. Newly generated tokens have no preset owner wallet or identity attached initially.

Once created, social tokens exist immutably on the blockchain outside of Cheezburger’s control. We do not have any ability to view, modify, transfer, censor or delete social tokens after their creation.

The Cheezburger platform retains no data, access, or attribution tying social tokens to the original minters. Transaction pseudonymity on blockchain allows for plausible deniability.

While original minters remain anonymous, Cheezburger social token contracts do permanently associate minter addresses for purposes of distribute trading fees. However, minters do not have to claim public ownership of tokens or associated fees.

We remind users to consider ethics, permission, and public persona rights when creating social tokens related to individuals or brands without consent. However, we cannot regulate or restrict activities on a permissionless, decentralized blockchain by design.

Users must comply with relevant laws and regulations when leveraging public sources to create tokenized profiles.

Cheezburger provides tools to enable decentralized social tokens but has no access to or control over any data powering the tokens themselves. Our platform is designed to preserve user privacy and freedom.

This policy may be updated periodically. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page. Your continued use of the Website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

If you have any privacy-related questions or concerns, you can contact us at [email protected]. We will do our best to promptly address any issues.
